Hi there! I’m Mia Hill, also known as "MiaBella". I am a 24-year-old photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri and the heart behind MiaBella Photography. I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2024 with a degree in Criminal Justice and proudly served in the Missouri Army National Guard for six years, completing my service in October 2024. After college, I work full-time as a Foster Care Case Manager, a role that allows me to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families. While my heart has always been in reunifying families, my passion for photography took over completely. I started my photography business in June of 2023, and it quickly became one of the greatest creative joys in my life. Photography allows me to connect with people, tell meaningful stories, and preserve moments that deserve to be remembered forever.

A name Rooted in meaning
The name Mia Bella holds a special meaning to me. Mia, meaning “mine” in Italian, represents the personal connection I have with every story I photograph and the pride I take in creating images that truly matter to my clients. Bella, my middle name, means “beautiful,” reflecting my belief that beauty exists in every person and moment—it just deserves to be seen and celebrated. My goal is to create photographs that feel genuine, timeless, and full of life. I want every client to walk away not only with beautiful images, but with an experience where they felt comfortable, valued, and truly seen. My faith in God is the foundation of everything I do, and I strive to approach every session with love, joy, and gratitude for the stories I get to capture.
When I’m behind the camera, I’m always excited to capture a wide variety of moments—from portraits and branding to weddings, events, and everything in between. Outside of photography and work, I enjoy the simple moments in life. Spending time with people I love, visiting coffee shops all over, shopping, shopping, and more shopping; and appreciating the little things that make life meaningful. I love to travel the world and stand in awe of this beautiful creation God generously created for us. Working out and playing sports (volleyball most importantly), is always such a fun hobby that I will always make time for. Oh, one more thing, my love for Dr. Pepper goes unmatched!

Travel has always held such a special place in my heart, especially anywhere with mountains. There’s something about being surrounded by that kind of beauty that makes me feel grounded, inspired, and closest to God. It’s where I feel the most creative and at peace. I’m drawn to slow, intentional moments—quiet mornings at coffee shops, exploring new places, and taking in the little details that make each destination feel unique. Whether I’m traveling for a wedding or simply to explore, I’m always inspired by the people, the landscapes, and the stories waiting to be captured.
